Toulouse Natural History Museum

Overview

The Natural History Museum is a recently re-opened museum showcasing the theme Science and Conscience of the Living World in which natural and human science mingle in 3,000 m2 of exhibition space showing the relationship between humans, Nature and the Environment. A permanent exhibition area is dedicated to the Montréal-du-Gers site.
In addition, the Museum is constantly upgraded with temporary exhibitions on a wide range of topics, and from November 2012, it will host the travelling exhibition ORIGENES.

Getting there

  • 35 allées Jules Guesde, downtown near the Grand Rond (entrance to the Botanical Gardens)
  • By bus: line 1 & 2 (Jardin Royal stop)
  • Underground: line B (Carmes or Palais-de-Justice stops)
  • By Vélô-Toulouse self-service bicycles: Allée Jules Guesde opposite the entrance to the Botanical Gardens
